You're right, and that sure sounds like a question a lawyer would ask, talking about recalls and all. My guess is that she didn't have the faintest idea that she was asking about recalls on a 30 to 40 year old tractor, lol. She probably thought she was dealing with one of Deere's latest tractors, rather than one of their greatest tractors. Some moron was probably walking by and stuck their hand in the fan while the engine was running, so they're trying to sue Deere for not putting a screen around the fan, a safety label on the screen, and printing the label in Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, German, and Russian, as well as not putting a picture on the label to prevent the illiterate from sticking their hand in too.

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics.
