Case 4210

Has anyone had shuttle shift problems with Case 4210 tractors. My tractor has 540 hours and was used for hay baling. No heavy work at all. It was purchased in 1998 but has been used very little. Had clutch fixed, didn't help problem. Tractor was torn down to reveal burned plates. Mechanic said this was rare and he felt it was a defect. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem.
