Jerry, I maintain 15 acres of hilly terrain too. I think the best advice is not which tractor to buy, but how to set it up. I started with a Kubota 2350 and still use it a bunch. It has a front loader which made mowing difficult, so I bought a Ford 801. That was just ok, until I weighted the front end and filled the rear tires with fluid. Now it is a dream to mow on the hills. Get as much weight on the wheels as it will allow and set the wheels as far apart as possible. Do not buy a row crop tractor to work the hills with. If you use a front loader on the hills, always always use balllast on the rear to stabilize. A mower will work, or just about any weight on the three point. I made a BHT (big heavy thing) to mount on the three point for ballast. Works great when I am front loading with the Kubota.

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
