I've just completed a study of the Nebraska Tractor Tests and what I have learned, the diesels on average are roughly 40% more efficient on fuel usage than their gasoline counterparts. The JD All-Fuels were good on fuel efficiency, but the amazing part is that the All-Fuels were way down (and I mean way down) on power output. Fact: the JD 720 gas is 57 Rated Belt HP, while the JD 720 All-Fuel burning Tractor Fuel is 44 Rated Belt HP!!! My three cents--go diesel.
