Wide front, lower center of gravity. That's what you are looking for.If it's really hilly, one you can adjust the tires out very wide helps, but frankly for most applications folks don't do that as it gets in the way... So, instead of a Ford 960, you would want the lower Ford 860. Or a 660. Every color of tractor has these lower models. Oliver 55 series. IHC Utility series. And so on. Guess I would not want to tell you what to buy, why don't you give us a list of tractors you like, & it is easier to point out which models have better/worse features for you? --->Paul
