To go along with what Rick was saying, I bought a IH340 backhoe/loader and the Hy-Tran contained alot of water. I drained the gearbox into 5gal pails and covered with plastic trash bags. About a year latter I broke a hydraulic hose on the hoe and had extra new hoses but didn't have any oil on hand. I looked at the Hy-Tran that had been sitting for over a year and the water had seperated and the oil looked clear. I set-up a filter and used about 4.5gal out of each pail with the water sitting on the bottom along with some other garbage. The pre-filter was not all that dirty when I was done. T_Bone
