I am the parts manager of a John Deere dealership in New York state and have worked at farm equipment dealerships for the past 20 years. Every year I have more and more people, most of whom are not involved in farming, coming in to get parts for antique farm machinery of all brands, not just Deere. If the interest in the heritage and preservation of antique farm equipment in this neck of the woods is any indication, I think our hobby will be popular for years to come. Websites such as this one seem to be gaining more visits everyday and I feel have been a great way to get more people interested who might have had just a passing interest before. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
