Rick, I live in South central Texas and sympathize with you mosquite problems. We've tried that green tire snot too, and it has worked well in some tires, not at all in others. One thing you could TRY is putting tubes in the tires and between the tires and tubes put a "boot." We found some somewhere and they are just like pieces of extremely thick inner tube. The boots are curved to fit in side the tire and then the tubes are put in. They keep some thorns out, but not all. I don't think I'd add foam to the tires. That would make them ride really really rough as well as being hard on the tractor, like you mentioned. Dad and I learned how to fix our own flats with a homemade breakdown tool and tire spoons....saves money and gets you back on the tractor when no service station is open. Eventually we bought a bulldozer and pushed the mosquites out! Problem solved. Good luck.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
