Well, there are a ton of right answers. :) Folks here will prefer the older tractors, and that would be a cheaper option for you. If you plan on using a snowblower or a hay baler some day, I strongly urg you to look for a tractor with LIVE PTO. Those are two jobs that are possible, but not enjoyable, without live pto. Otherwise, the possibilities are endless, buy smart & if you don't like an older tractor, you can probably sell it for what it cost you & try again. --->Paul
