Dave, I argue my pro-propane views whenever I can. I love propane tractors. You have a little expense up front getting tooled to fuel it but when you do, you will like it. Depending on your use, a small 15-20 gal bottle is all you may need. This is small enough to be portable even full. You will also need a hose with appropriate fittings. Your LP supplier can help with these. Depending on how close you are to the LP supplier, they may come fill it up any time you need it done. Like Steven said, the LP engine lasts much longer than gas if serviced sufficiently. Many are afriad of them because they do not like to fuel them. When you do it a few times, it becomes easier than pouring gas thru a funnel. I hear guys takling of converting LP to gas tractors, it makes me cringe. Good luck to you.
