Dave Concrete DOES pull moisture from the ground like a sponge!!!Thats why we have moisture barriers under slabs and on walls. I have seen block walls after a good rain soaked through with water.I dont recommend a carpet under the vehicle it would only trap moisture and be a long time drying out without proper ventilation. Ventilation should always be calculated on a square foot basis, call your local building dept and they will tell you the ratio's. Protect the tractors finish with a good paint or wax and cover it with a good indoor cover that breathes. If its a tractor there should be enough ground clearance to allow for ventilation underneath.
