MF-65 planatary gears???

I'm thinking of purchasing this tractor. I was told by a mechanic to check the planatary gears. They do not appear to be leaking. I have shook the tractor side to side and can hear the rear wheels pop like a loose front bearing would sound. Please help. This is a 1963 high 65
