I'd start with something smaller, like the Allis B, D12, Farmall Super A, Farmall Cub, etc. They're all pretty straightforward and parts are easy to find. Besides, if you decide to sell it, you won't have trouble; the smaller machines are really in demand right now.

By the way, make sure you get copies of the owner's manual, the service manual, and the parts book for any machine. They make life a whole lot easier!!
