I had the same dilemma some time back and decided to make my own tank. I needed the 8 x 4 bed and realized the space from bedrails to edge of tire bumps was something like 10 or 12 inches. So I had a guy weld up tank that fit my truck on both sides, and I keep diesel in one tank and gas in the other. They are relatively small, only about 25 gallons, but they get the tractor home to refuel, and add good weight during winter months.
