AL: Where is it 40 degrees now? I'll suggest swapping a proven good battery and proven heavy duty cables right to the starter. Set it on a workstand beside the tractor. You don't have to start and run the tractor. You would just be proving that it is NOT the current cables and their connections or that battery that is in the tractor right now. You would be using a completely different battery and cables direct to the starter. If that fails with this swap, it almost has to be inside your starter..? If the seperate battery DOES work fine, it has to be your current battery and\or cables.. G .
