Try the link below for info on Char-Lynn power steering units. Scroll down as necessary. The entire catalog is file #C-STOV-MC001-E.pdf. It is a large 3.24mb download so will take a while if you are on a dialup connection. However, the catalog covers all the different Char-Lynn power steering control units, including their torque generators and has diagrams and descriptions of the use of load sensing circuits. I think it will give you the information you are looking for.
