They are equipped with a Yanmar diesel engine which is a good one. Some did not have live pto and that was a problem with a 60" deck. The engine always seemed a little small for that tractor but you get used to what it can do and what it can't do. I used one for about 4 years and was generally satisfied with it except for the lack of power and no live pto. It seems like a well built tractor that could handle a bigger engine.
