Ok Roger, basic engine 101. You must have 5 things to make an gasoline engine run. 1-fuel 2-spark 3-air 4-compression 5-everything must happen at the right time. I would first pull each plug and see if all the plugs are fireing and in the right order. Second I would make sure the carb is getting fuel and the bowl is not flooded or the needle and seat are not stuck closed. If everything here is ok I would run a compression test while the plugs are out. If you have fuel, spark, and compression then I would put a timeing gun on the thing and then it should be running.
