The big surprise in all this is the liability being so high. I've had certain sports cars and such in the past where the collision aspect was such a rip-off, that I'd just go without collision, have liability only, and asssume the risk for self inflicted damage or theft. But here it's just the opposite situation, with the collison being reasonable and the liability (i.e. the part you *have* to have) sky high.
