Connecting rod bolt torque is 62.5 ft lbs. Rod bearing clearance should be around .003" - you'll definitely want to check it using plastigage. You'll also want to check it in multiple places, as crank journals do not wear evenly, they become egg-shaped. It sounds like you could use a service manual for your tractor. I&T books are available at your local tractor supply, etc and are pretty cheap - much cheaper than broken parts. They are more condensed than the real service manual, but all necessary info is in there.
