Welcome aboard Rick,glad you are looking to restore a useable old tractor..... they can be a lot of fun and your friend when you got work to do.....I only have one acre,I cut the grass with a 2016 POWER kING (4years old)20HP and 16" of ground clearence.....My pride and joy is my 1951 FARMALL M,I am making a show piece out of it. I had one back onth farm when I was 15 ......I also have a ALLIS CHALMERS G ....This is a small tractor with a rear engine...we will ride it around at large car and tractor shows,as my wife and I are handicapped....If you are looking for a narrow front(they are called row crop,the wheels can straddle two rows)....A FARMALL Super C or Super H , good looking popular tractors that have easy tools to put on and off.....Don't get in a hurry there will alwaws be a old tractor for sale..Go over to the left side of this page under GALLERY and click on tractor photos....Look at them all, but print"FARMALL"in the search box and look at the Farmall Super C and H.....happy hunting......DON

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
