I would have to agree with you. Just because it's done that way doesn't make it right. I was up by Ionia MI with a different auctioneer. He would ignore my bids even when I was in front of him, yelling and waving my arms. Then when I was watching something sell he said sold, and asked several times for the bidder's number, a clerk told me the auctioneer wanted my bidder's number, it turned out he sold it to me for a very high price. That was the only thing he sold to me, I paid for it and left.
