Shep, that site is a joke......they sould come to my farm and see the barn and yard my cattle live in!! I only have 4 at the moment and I plan on getting more. They always have a clean pen and yard(Really, I mean if they take a dump..I am there cleaning it up right away!!). They have an automatic feeder and water and eat to there hearts content. A half acre of pasture. They live better than most humans do...and these people are saying farming is cruel to animals? Heck, I haul manure every other day...I don't think that cat people clean there litter boxes that often.....The people who designed that site need to get out and find the few farmers that are cruel to animals and do something about it....instead of making a Stupid generalization about all farmers!
