Have 1950 Plymouth with stuck L-Head (flathead six). As advised, I have pulled the head and glad I did. Previous (original!) owner had stored since 1980 and somewhere along line filled cylinders with diesel fuel(?) What I found was some of it had jelled to a paste. I scooped it out, wiped clean and used shop vac to get all dirt out. Cylinder walls seem to look okay but looks like I have four stuck cylinders. Poured PB Blaster ($20/gal penetrant) in each cylinder and on valves. Two cylinder have run out, other four holding fluid overnight. Did attempt would block and hammer tapping on all. I suspect at least one stuck valve. Besides being patient, I have not attempted to pull the car or turn rear wheels. Any suggestions????
