I too would see if I could obtain service records, if they show no recurring problems I wouldn't be afraid of it at all, I think thats the same basic engine that Dodge uses in their pickups and when the fenders are flappin' in the breeze that engine is just getting broke in, I just installed a 14' service body on a '90 model F700 with a 6.6 Ford diesel 170 hp, I dont know how much it weighs and I haven't got my tools or crane on it yet but I noticed a very minimal difference in the get up an go it has.
