I agree with the others, the older snappers are
almost indestructible and most engines are
adaptable for replacements. As a rule I stay away
from name brand equipment sold thru the "big box"
stores. The quality is different than what is
found at your dealer and rather than a ready to go
unit you get a big box and some mediocre assembly
instructions. I used to work at one of those
stores and I have been tinkering with lawn
equipment for about 13 years.
