Your right. Now the 9N/2N has more parts that will exchange and it isn't the engine either. The hydraulic pump is interchangable with both but you will have to change the top plate on the 8N for it to work. Some bearings, axle parts, rear gears and 3/point stuff the same. The rims fit off the 8N to the Fergusons also. Not a lot of the parts exchange but just a few of the smaller parts do. Mark H.
