I'm by no means an expert in the fine differences between the M and MTA, but it seems counter intuitave to include TA in the name without having a TA in the tractor. Common sense suggests that if you have a MTA with out a TA, it was removed to eliminate future TA clutch replacements. I would like to know the source of the article from the link provided. Are their any original IH archive documents supporting this?
