Trailer Brake Control

I took out my trailer brake control from one pickup and installed it in another pickup. Was working in first pickup. After re-installing trailer brakes don't seem to work. Did have brakes once for a brief moment. Light indicater comes on when pedal is pushed down(with trailer hooked up). Have control set for high. Could the problem be a bad ground??? Any suggestions folks.
