Got one put in about a year ago. Hideaway was $100.00 if you bought it there, $150.00 if you didn't. Regular ball, which I got, was $175.00 no wiring or controller (included all metal and ball). He pulled the bed, welded 10" heavy C channel opening down on the rails with an 8" heavy C channel, open side up underneath. Pc of pipe welded to both channels and a drop in (not treaded) 2-5/16" (30,000#) ball. Works great. Scaled at a little over 32,000# GTW with a big load of alfalfa and it held.
