Kevin,use detergent oil in any moter. also good oil, a few years agow I rebuilt a 16hp. Briggs moter and put in wally world brand oil, I mowed the yard and used 1qt. of oil, changed the oil mowed the yard and used a qt. of oil.{i did this three times} switched to a Brand name of oil{Pennzoil,Quaker State,Valvoline {I don`t rember witch I`ve used them all at one time or another}it never used another drop.
