MDJON - I put up a 30x60x14 Millenium Steel bldg. They are sold out of Tallahassee, FL. Bldg is actually from Olympia Bldg. located in PA. This bldg. was a pain to assemble due to inadequate dwgs. and and limited text to support them. While I like my shop I would look at Steel Building Systems, or Butler Bldgs. They have the flanges welded to the uprights and makes assy. much quicker. They also include bolt on bracing between the girts and purlins which ease assy. If I ever decide to do this again I suggest the following:
a) ridge cap ventilation entire length of bldg.
b) 3 or 4 block stem wall then affix bldg atop this. Permits taller door at less cost.
c) Add 1 drive thru door on 1 side
d) rain gutters with 2-3 down spouts per side Below is a link to some pics of my shop. It is now finished and I have just failed to include updated pics. 2 notes for pleasing visual effects
