Mark; Pasture has usually been plowed and seeded to some type of grass. Most pasture's have to be watered to be use by cattle/horse ect.....I usually mowed mine down when it gets 10" or higher, as livestock don't like tall grass., so I would look for some property that has a "water" SOURCE.As far as tractors goes, would look for a newer one than a 8N, say at least a 4000 or maybe a 5000 series, with PS and later goodies. 8N's were good tractors in their day, but it has been long gone!! 10 Acres can keep you very busy, that is if you keep it looking nice.
