Just a note on this pump. I bought one several years ago and really like it. However, it is a clear water pump only! I used it to drain a pond and must have got some dirt along with the water. Now the pump won't self prime unless I grease all the innerds before I go pump water. Also, when I ordered a replacement last year, I decided to spend the extra $40 to get the higher pressure version. It came with the same casting numbers as my original, so I called and complained. They replaced it with another and I got the same pump. I think, since you can't tell the differece by looking, that there is only one pump, but two prices. Would be interested to hear if anyone else ordered the higher pressure version.
