Hey thanks for alot of good advice, I'd pretty much decided to rent a tow dolly or a car hauler from u-hell. Didn't occur to me to lube the rings up. I have the service manual...gotta say it often doesn't make much sense. Should be an intersting adventure. FIL's are sometimes strange and wonderful.
