I wanted a trailer for quite a few years, but never ran onto one that was just what I wanted. Finally decited to build what I wanted. I went with a 24' gooseneck and flat deck. If you go with a beavertail, my recomendation would be keep at least 24' ahead of it. I went with 3 7000# axles and 14 ply lowboy tires. Than I found a good heavy duty winch and built it into the frontend of the trailer. I am for the most part happy with the finished product. Of course I had to put a few little extras! I have squeezed 3 tractors on it a time or two, but if I was building it now that I know what I know, it would be some longer. Give the winch some thought too.
