The 10000 pound weight is a different deal than the 26000.If your over 10000 pounds truck, trailer, or both combined and cross a state line with the intent of making money with whatever your hauling your considered a Commercial trucker, and need fuel permits, log book, federal truck inspection, etc.The 26000 is just for a CDL.I collect, sell a few old tractors, and with my dually pickup, and 30 ft gooseneck I'm under the same regulations as a professional trucker.
