As Jerry said below, those are pretty common. The diameter of the plug is one consideration for sure, however clearances inside the plug area are another. As a result you obviously have to go by engine application since many of the heating elements that locate inside the plug hole will not go in because of cylinder sleeves, etc. that might be in the way.
