Dante, Your post made me grin. When I was a kid we had a resort/trailer park on the lake. Lucky for me I got to launch all the boats - and pocket the fees of course. We had an Allis Chalmers B. It did a real good job with the boats. Dad also wanted to keep the weeds down so I used to drag the beach with a spike toothed drag and would go it till my feet were wet. That had to be over 2 feet deep. We overhauled that tractor a few years later and the water never hurt it. An unrestored but good running Allis B or C can be got for not a lot of money compared to some of the other fancier brands. And if down the road you decieded it wasn't the right tool you'd get the price you paid for it back pretty easy. hope this helps
