this is sure to start a discussion. the 1010 is the little brother of the 2010 (not to be confused with the later 1020). i never owned a 2010 but several of my friends have. all of the 2010's i know of have had serious engine or pto problems. but thats the 2010, we have rowcroped with a 1010 from 1969 to 1985 when my dad died. i still use the tractor occasionally. its been a pretty good tractor, rough on fuel for its size, excellent lift/hydraulics, no room for big footed people and takes some method to mount and dismount the tractor with out falling. they bring a "fortune" in this area (virginia). for a running/fair to good shape $3200 to $3800.
