i am considering buying a forklift. it says silent hoist co. brooklyn ny on it in a few places. the seller says somone told him it is a 10000 lb lift, and this apears to be about right judging by the forks. it is a 4 wheeled forklift, the front tires are duals and are 20 inch truck type tires. the backs are 15 inch but are spaced next to eachother like a narrow front tractor. it has a 4 cylinder motor with the distributor coming up thru the center of the block, could this be a continental motor? also does anyone have any idea of the weight of this machine? it has a 12 ft mast on it so it has to go on my trailer if i bring it home,my flatbed truck is 4 ft high so i would be overheight on the road. any help would be appreciated
