There's a FAQ link on the site Sammy posted the link too. The pockets where those springs set wear and you have to weld/braze up the slots to make the springs tight again. Make sure You don't melt the O-Rings that seal the shaft. Your getting into some mighty complicated assemblies if ou try to remove the shaft & replace it. Internal parts are probably pretty tough to find also because those hydro units are SO durable! If anything fails inside the hydro unit, Really rare occurance by the way, Most people replace the whole hydro unit with a used one.
