I didn't mean that "just" or "all" tractor guys are into chewing, I just assumed that as a group that some of them would be (which some obviously are) but not necessarily any more likely to do so than any other special interest group. Maybe it sounded otherwise but I didn't mean it in that way. As for the "why" part, I wasn't really asking that ... of course most of us can make our own minds up about the habit and you're right, it is a free country and personally anyone who does it isn't infringing on me in any way (unlike smoking), as long as they don't leave their spitcups out for me to look at or worse yet spill.
