I will have to take a look at mine (38 B) again to jog my memory but out of what I remember you pop the cap on the inside housing. Remove the bolt from the axel. Remove the large nut that holds the bull gear and beat it(the axel) out towards the outside. The bull gear is a splined taper fit like the wheel hub I believe. I will look at my old parts tonight.
