I too have a 4500 and have done some really ugly things with it in the last twenty years. But I would never lower the dipper to drive up a hill. That would just move the center of gravity back and lift weight off the front. Drop the stabilizer legs for "wheelie bars" or push it up the hill with the hoe. my2cents Why go up there if its that steep? There has got the be another attack!
