I don't know what part of MO you are from but we make all kinds of AC hoses have a good supply of AC components to get most any ag related job done. I would recharge with R134a freon. I use denatured alchol for flushing its 4 times cheaper than AC flush and does just as good a job. You will need to change oil in compressorand put on a new drier but I would not replace expansion valve unless it is plugged or stuck open you can tell this by pulling vacum on high side and see if low side pulls down. If chnging to 134 your condensor must be clean and provide maxium air flow for system to work good.I have relocated several binders and ford condensors up in front of radiator to provide better air flow and they work great. Just keep in mind that 134 leaks easier than R12 because its smaller molocule and caries higher head pressure.
