Noisy loader

I have a 69 MF 135 with a loader. While it works fine, the loader makes no small amount of noise when raising. It does not, however, make noise when lowering. I thought it may be low on fluid, but even after I added a gallon of hydraulic fluid, it still makes this noise. Any ideas about what's up? I really do not mind the noise, but I do need to know if it is a sign that something might be wrong.
