Said I wouldn't take anymore down payments on anything, but back in march I sold a tractor to a man about 700 miles away, got a $500 down payment, were into july and still haven't got the rest of my money. He's made appointments 3 times to pick it up,I change appointments, stay around home and he doesn't show up.The tractors sold,I'm tied up and still don't have my money. Thinking about selling it and keeping the $500 for my trouble. If he would have just paid for it I wouldn't care if it sat for a while.I've taken down payments a few times before and always had trouble, they either want there money back a week later or say it will only be for a week, and months later i set with no money and empty promises.
