Modern motercycles have a pipe innerliner, much like Ace was telling you about...It provides a air space,so the chrome pipe doesen't get too hot....I was thinking of using the standard straight pipe that fits the tractor, then getting a chrome pipe 1/4"larger...Weld in 1/8" spacers (3or4)about 2" long up between the two pipes at the bottom,to keep them apart...leave enough inner pipe at the bottom for the clamp...there will be other problems,such as the hole in the hood may not be large enoughand etc....Let me know how you solve the problem ...I am not ready to work on that yet....good luck...Don
