Ground drive is pretty nice for some things. One of my Agco's has it, and it's nice to unwind some wire my rotavator picked up, or to turn my baler back wards a bit to help in unplugging it. There's other uses for it too.
Some IH M's did have live pto, so you can't use the term "all" reguarding them.
